A friend called last night. she & her husband bought a home in Florida 4 years ago, 15 minutes from the Boca Raton airport, while maintaining a home in NY. They sold the NY home last year.
Her husband loves to golf. Recently he was able to buy a 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo on the 10th hole, in a condo, private home community with a full golf course.
Nine months ago it was on the market for $149,900, the couple died within a year of each other & the daughter was selling. The price was $99,000 when Gino looked at it, he bought it for $85,000, golf cart included, in the garage.
Gino loves to work on the house(s) inside & out, so he's painted the place already & making improvements to his taste.
After a year they could rent it, but Gino is loving the golf, and its 10 minutes from their main home. ;))
