what happened yesterday with the presidential campaigns! David Axelrod, president Obama's campaign manager, appeared on the steps of the Massachusetts statehouse to discuss Mitt Romney's record as governor. Axelrod was peppered with insults from a group of Romney supporters who knew well in advance about the time and the place of the meeting. Meanwhile out in California, near San Francisco, Romney held an event where the press was hustled onto buses and taken to it without any idea of where they were going. When asked why there was no advance notice of where this event was going to be held, a Romney spokes person stated that they were afraid that president Obama might try to shut the meeting down. We wonder if what the Romney people were really stating was that if Romney were president and this sort of event was held, they would try to shut the event down as they seemed to be the only ones who were thinking that way. The event was held in front of the now bankrupt Solendra solar panel plant which had financing from the federal government under the stimulus plant.
David Axelrod seemed to handle the heckers in Massachusetts quite easily while there was no chance for hecklers to show up in California due to the Romney campaigns need for secrecy.

Joe
