What "competently managed sectors" did we have in 2008?

And New York is doing fine, ignorant turkey. We finally have a real governor, future President.

re: This is what liberalism does."

That's an important point Rush made. Liberals do not understand (or care about) the fact that a leaky boat cannot be repaired by pulling other planks from the hull and nailing them over the leaky sections. Or that a starving man is not helped when he's given the option of eating his own leg.

An economy is HARMED when liberals steal wealth from its competently managed sectors and bestow the wealth upon the grafters and incompetent.

We've seen this over and over again. Russia, France, Argentina, Cuba. Massachusetts. Kalifornia. New York. Connecticut.

Liberals devastate economies. Their policies invariably drive healthy economies into early graves. One cannot continually punish a nation's most productive members without also sapping them of their desire to work.

Unfortunately, drunks and addicts only rarely turn their lives around before they've hit rock bottom. The United States will be no different.

The good news is that rock bottom isn't THAT far away. Then, perhaps, those who survive the crash can start fresh.
