re: "***well no, I don’t know of anybody who thinks the Earthes temperature is rising***"

Do tell?

Sorry, but your sarcasm is lost on me. I haven't been here nearly long enough to understand why you're reacting that way.

"Earth's average surface temperature has increased by about 0.8 °C (1.4 °F), with about two thirds of the increase occurring since 1980."
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Global_warming

“Global warming is the unusually rapid increase in Earth’s average surface temperature over the past century primarily due to the greenhouse gases released by people burning fossil fuels.”
http://wattsupwiththat.com/2012/01/01/a-big-picture-look-at-earths-temperature/

"The Earth's temperature from January-March 2009 was the 8th-warmest on record"
http://www.usatoday.com/weather/climate/2009-04-16-march-temperatures-emissions-reduction-study_N.htm

And, then, of course, there's Al Gore, the premier authority on Global Warming. The Nobel laureate.

When I grew up, the Earth's core was approximately 4,000 degrees Centigrade. But today? Here's Al:

"People think about geothermal energy — when they think about it at all — in terms of the hot water bubbling up in some places, but two kilometers or so down in most places there are these incredibly hot rocks, ’cause the interior of the earth is extremely hot, several million degrees, and the crust of the earth is hot … "

Now THAT's some serious Earth-warming!
