Look at Page 14 of the Delegate Guide under the heading "Registration and Credentials":

A PHOTO ID WILL BE REQUIRED TO ENTER THE MASSMUTUAL CENTER

This was a general requirement for anyone who wanted to enter the MassMutual Center and therefore be able to cast their vote at the convention.

But, it seems you will continue to talk around this issue as much as you can to avoid the obvious need to pull the plank out of your own eye while you go on complaining about the speck in your neighbor's eye. Unfortunately, Decomposed's assessment appears to be all too correct.

This was for Democrat Delegates & Alternates, hence the need for ID.

Delegate Fees and Applications

Congratulations to all newly elected Delegates and Alternates and Add-ons for the 2012 Massachusetts Democratic State Convention! The registration deadline has passed. The fee has now increased by $25.

Delegates who have paid in advance of the June 2nd Convention will receive their credentials in the mail. If you have not paid prior to Friday, May 18, you will need to register at the MassMutual Center and you will not receive your credentials in advance. The deadline for payment in advance is Friday, May 18, 2012.


Delegates may register by remittance envelopes mailed to the Massachusetts Democratic Party in Boston or online registration.
