The House Ethics Committee has voted unanimously to allow the long-running case against Rep. Maxine Waters to move forward. The decision comes after an outside counsel investigated the committee's handling of the case. The case alleges Waters had a financial conflict of interest involving her husband's holdings in a bank that she later assisted during the 2008 financial crisis.
