The big problem with electric cars is the cost of replacement batteries
I'll get interested in electric cars only when I get faith that battery technology has taken quantum leaps. Based on the sorry life of various different kinds of batteries used in my golf cart, razor, drill, etc., I'm in no hurry to possess a big vehicle full of batteries.
I realize I have no direct experience with what is used in cars, but rightly or wrongly, I have no faith in them having a good cost effective life.
Want to be the next trillionaire? Invent the perfect battery. And while you're at it, maybe a perpetual motion machine.
