Great... Good to see the local support, the new stadium here made a huge different, lots of local involvemnt, getting the kids more involve, High School Bands perforn form all over the area, so since we've a batch of Grandkids in the Bad, another excuse to head down to the game, likely the same for other games, other family...

Across the Bay, the Oakland A's have been struggling, so not so often sellouts... They do some innovative things, still spend the least instead of just buying the best...

All good... Just no more earthquakes at a Series game please..

The sellout streak began on May 15, 2003, when Pedro Martinez beat the Texas Rangers, 12-3. Fenway Park’s sellout streak hit 745 games on Sunday afternoon.

It has been more than eight years since a seat went unsold at Fenway.

The Fenway streak, which began a year after the arrival of the team’s current ownership of John Henry, Tom Werner and Larry Lucchino, is almost 250 games longer than the previous record held by the Cleveland Indians and nearly 500 games longer than the next-longest active streak, held by the Philadelphia Phillies, who are approaching 200 consecutive sellouts.

Sure looked like a lot of empty seats earlier this year after a disasterous finish last season and a slow start this year.
