Micro.. played with it for a while.
Having nothing to compare it to except perhaps the iPhone, I'd say it is a good value. The touch screen on any portable device is sort of a pain for me as my fingers aren't particularly svelte... and my eyes really do better with bigger screens... but I can see the appeal in a tablet to others. You can either download the Facebook app or go online and access FB that way. Somehow I accidently changed my son's language on FB to Spanish and we couldn't figure out how to get it back to English. I also tried ordering one of my Kindle stories to download directly to the Fire, but had to register it as a different device and provide a serial number, so I didn't bother.
That's really about all I have for a review. The Fire seems to act much like the iPad or whatever Samsung makes, so there you have it.
