BTW: Yer kids showin an interest in takin care of one another is a sign they are "OK" kids. Folks who don't have ok kids depend on da gubmints.

This a bit different. #2 daughter has chronic health problems. #1 daughter wants her to have a house next to her should #2 become incapacitated or needy in any way. #2 is very bright, has scoped out the property, and asked (told) me to buy it. It's a decent investment property in any case, so it's a done deal.
