A case like this has NEVER been tired, Citizens United made this case a farce!
So, they wasted taxpayer money for what....
Long term, this was the better result since the U.S. Attorney handling this case was a Bush-era holdover. Can you imagine the self-righteous outrage that would have occurred if the government had NOT gone ahead with this case in the first place...
