There are many highly erudite posters, whether through scholarly study or experience from the school of hard knocks ... or both, on these boards who can be quite informative, and monkeytrots is one of the best. I enjoy and am often enriched by reading the posts of not only monkeytrots, but also DueDillinger, ribit, kathy_s16, CTJ, micro, DGpeddler, scubavol, Decomposed, and some others ... even killthecat sometimes shows brief flashes of intelligence whenever he drops his predilection for being an unserious, snarky asswipe. But, that being said, we all have our different passions and styles, and sometimes those personal characteristics don't always mesh so well ... especially in the impersonal world of message boards on the Internet, eh? So, sometimes the board interactions end up running more on the hot side of the dialogue thermometer. Oh well ... c'est la vie.
Then, from your list, there is clo. Come on, now, snapits ... admit it ... you don't have clo on your list because you actually derive any "smart stuff" from her ... unless you want to count solutions to word puzzles, that is. Rather than any rational thought on her part, clo's posts clearly show a strong propensity to simply emote and regurgitate ideological talking points that she neither understands or even tries to understand, which is why the Further Freedom From Thought Board is as childishly ridiculous and inane as it is. No, clo is on your list simply because she is the object of your desire to break your papal vows of celibacy.
