I understand ya feelins on this issue and without addressing the constitutionality of gubmint schools, I will say that if there wasn't a public education system we would have illiteracy levels much like third world countries. The biggest problem I see with public education is the NEA (teachers unions) and the fact that the public school system has become a minorities jobs program.
Liberals are like a "Slinky". Totally useless, but somehow ya can't help but smile when you see one tumble down a flight of stairs!
