The government doesn't do anything well. Why do you think that the government are the only ones who can do these things. Private schools are better than public schools, and generally are less expensive. Private road are better than public roads. They are better maintained and cheaper,and quicker to build. VA hospital vs private hospital, no contest, private better.
I drive on a private toll road all the time. It was built in 2/3 the time that the State said they could do it in, cost 3/4 of the States estimate. The tolls are high but only the users pay.
