Careful there . . .
The writing is on the wall.

'They' are making plans on a 'public private'
partnership to build more roads and tunnels -
more specifically tunnels around Hampton Roads
(MidTown tunnel to Portsmouth Va) and the plan
is to slap tolls on the existing tunnels.

EZ Pass only. No toll booths.

If I understand what I have read correctly, 'They'
plan on billing folks who drive through without
EZ-Pass . . . the toll plus an extortionate 'service
fee'.

I don't like it. I can see the tolls . . . but I
have a case of heartburn over the 'No Toll Plaza'
part of it.

re: "What part of Virginia are YOU thinking of?"

Obviously not the part where you live.

My wife and I almost never pay tolls. In fact, we'll probably give up our two EZ Pass transponders soon. TPTB have decided to charge $1/month for them. In our case, they aren't worth it.
