...romney isn't likable. Neither was Bush 41, but he got elected over Michael Dukakis. Bush 41 said, "Read my lips, no new taxes" before he was elected. Afterwards, he "reached across the aisle" to democrats and gave em the tax increase they wanted so they would have more money to piss away. The result of that was him being a one termer. If he had stood to his committment, no one would have heard of Bill Clinton.

This should be fun. "Likeability" has been Romney's biggest failing. I've maintained, though, that he's a very likeable guy. The low rating stems from a biased press, and a public that doesn't really know him. That will change in a big way as his visibility increases.

I'm hesitant to say this, but Romney's personality reminds me a little of Reagan's. If I'm not alone in this, then his lead will increase significantly between now and November.
