re: "Nothing ever happened"

That sounds more like an encounter with a gang than with a bully. Bullies are sadists who enjoy targeting and harrassing people. They don't usually let up. I think that persistence is what defines them as bullies, though you're welcome to disagree.

Good discussion today, but my position hasn't changed. I'm glad to see the victim of a bully retaliate. Too bad it took so long. Too bad it doesn't happen more often - it might make the world a better place. (Okay, probably not. Bullies are typically young, and too stupid to appreciate the simple truth that what goes around, usually comes around.)

Gold is $1,581/oz today. When it hits $2,000, it will be up 26.5%. Let's see how long that takes. - De 3/11/2013 - ANSWER: 7 Years, 5 Months

"who had his share of run-ins with bullies, such run-ins are NEVER a single event."

I had several incedents that involved three or more people. Every time I told them to get on with it if they were that stupid. Nothing ever happened and none ever tried more than once.
