There wouldn't be much point. The horrible numbers the pollsters keep reporting for Congress is what sells papers... or whatever it is that the pollsters sell.
It's obvious enough, though. I'm sure the pollsters already know. If YOUR Congressman does a great job for you, he's probably sending Federal funds to your neighhborhood instead of mine. Naturally I'm going to hate him. He's representing YOU, not me.
And it's the same for 532 out of 535 in Congress. They don't do a thing for me! Get rid of them all! (Except for my three, I mean. Or, rather, 1.5 out of my three since I don't like the Democrats elected from my state and district.)
And that's how Americans think. Which is to say, they don't think much at all since they eat this poll nonsense right up.
