PUHLEEEZE.....do NOT try to say "Bush wasn't a real Republican" or "Bush wasn't a conservative."
Bush WAS and IS a conservative Republican.
Bush did whatever he wanted, and got whatever he wanted...including the Iraq war.
Romney will be the same. Well...ok, he will pander less to oil companies and more to Wall Street. THAT is the only difference. He will continue the insane drive toward supply side economics (hey, if that works so well, since companies are sitting on record levels of cash...gosh, we should be having an economic boon any day now). He will continue to shove government in our bedrooms, while letting us do whatever we want, legal or illegal, in the boardrooms. He will NOT be a libertarian, oh my libertarian friends....he will expand government control over individual conduct, while letting the legal entity know as a corporation do anything to individuals who really ARE people.
Romney is Bush with a dog on the roof of his car, only if he gets elected, ALL OF US will be on his roof, screaming and defecating as he careens the US back to the future of Bush the Lesser, with more idiocy and destructive policies than we can even contemplate.
But he DOES have nice hair.
And magic underwear.
