Well, snapits ... "high" is almost always a relative term, but yes ... I certainly believe my taxes are too high ... especially when you consider how frivolously most of those dollars are pissed away simply to buy security and power for a handful of so-called "public servants" and their minions. It "turned out that way" because statists hijacked (and are still in the process of hijacking) our Constitutional government of the people, by the people, for the people and turning it into the people's presumptuous taskmaster.
