...it can be a real job, I know folks who have made a good living at it. Historically though when you have jobs that you cannot fill, ya raise the incentive to folks to take those jobs. Better pay, better working conditions ect.

I understand some of your skepticism about the inherent worthiness of making a career out of truck driving, ribit, but "it's not a real job"? Really? That's hyperbole on your part, in my humble opinion.
