Here's a test to see whether you're color-blind or not, and if so, to what extent:

http://www.xrite.com/custom_page.aspx?pageid=77

Note that I got a score of 8 (zero is perfect) and considering that the scale goes up to around 1600, an 8 is almost perfect, which leads me to my original comment, I must have taken after my mother since my father was notoriously color-blind. Now he never saw this as a disadvantage, except perhaps when he was buying neckties or socks, but when he was out hunting, it was a definite ADVANTAGE since birds and small game depend on natural camouflage to keep them hidden, but people, particularly those who are Red/Green color-blind, which was the case with my father, they can see right past the 'camouflage' giving them a definite advantage. When I first started hunting with him back in Northern Michigan I was always amazed how he could see game long before they moved while I had to wait for that movement before I was aware that something was even there.

Anyway, give it shot and see how you score and how you compare to others in your demographic.
