Matt Drudge is running an item which is headlined as (note the use of the past-tense "Shrunk")...
Obama Shrunk Aerial Firefighting Fleet...
...where the actual 'news' item is raising the issue that the Pentagon's 2013 budget calls for the EVENTUAL removal from service of 65 C-130 aircraft, which can be fitted with airborne firefighting equipment. The article mentions that it is true that 318 C-130's will remain in service but the implication seems to be that Obama has personally decided that the 65 planes being removed from service will be the ones that the Air Force had designated as being available for aerial firefighting duty. And of course Drudge's headline implies that this has already occurred and they place it within a group of other headlines about the recent fires including one stating that over 300 home have already been lost in Colorado.
