Observations and Predictions
The Republicans have lost their minds. The House of Representatives has no one in control nor anyone of any sense speaking up, stopping the nonsense. Darrell Issa is an idiot and is going down as the one who put the final nail in the coffin of the Republican legacy. History will show the Fast and Furious "investigation" as one on the dumbest actions by any Congress. I hope Issa loses his seat over it.
The NRA controls Congress. Our Nation is being held hostage by the NRA and every other powerful lobbying group. We will never have a sensible, deliberative debate and law making until we have serious campaign finance reform and get rid of Citizens United.
The Affordable Health Care Law will be upheld in its entirety.
President Obama will win re-election. Mitt Romney will retire into obscurity in La Jolla, enjoying his beautiful Pacific view and his garage elevator. (BTW if Mitt Romney is an example of the Mormon faith, I'm not impressed. But I can say the same thing of most fundamentalist Christians, especially their preachers and leaders.)
