Not so long ago that I might have forgotten . . .
KillTheCat had this little habit of posting
articles with no link . . . then he got caught
'creatively editing' the text in the articles.

As you say, if there is no link it might not
be trustworthy.

I sometimes DON'T read the posts. I go to the sources and read them there. Not only are they better presented, but their informaiton is also more reliable.

A few years ago, OCU posted a story in which he'd changed a key date. pmcw saw what he'd done and ripped him a new one. The actual article made it clear that the date "typo," which is what OCU claimed it to be, was material.

Now, given that such "typos" can and DO occur, both intentionally and by accident, why should anyone "read Clo's article" when she didn't provide a link?
