Because it's not a fair contractual arrangement if the owners have all the money and all the power.

For the good of society, workers do need some protection from abusive work environments. Do you think Human Turds or free market forces will provide it? Business owners in it to maximize the money they make, which within bounds is OK.

Nanny State is your foolish description, not mine.

Have you always had such contempt for workers?

I think of workers as equals to their employers. They are just as able to treat their employers as "human turds" as vice versa.

Employment is a CONTRACTUAL arrangement among adults. If either adult dislikes the arrangement, he should be free to depart.

Now, please explain to us why you think workers are inferior... children who need the protection of a nanny government?
