ribit, at least part of the fault was mine for not making the right choice. After Lucent was spun off I sold my 401k shares at $56 a share because I thought they could never go higher. If I had waited until the company forced 401k folks to sell theirs, I would have gotten $180 a share. Stuff happens. Hind sight is 20/20.
