U.S. stock futures climbed after a private report showed employers added more jobs than economists forecast last month, fueling optimism before tomorrow’s government labor report.
Futures on the Standard & Poor’s 500 Index increased 0.3 percent to 1,371.70 at 8:17 a.m. in New York.
Companies in the U.S. added 176,000 workers in June, according to figures from ADP Employer Services. The median forecast of economists surveyed by Bloomberg News called for a 100,000 advance.
