Once again - women & GOP facts:
• 1st bill signed by President Obama was the Lilly Ledbetter Act ensuring women get equal pay for equal work; that is not eroding freedom (for those who continue to espouse the opposite)that is demanding equality.
• The Affordable Care Act ensures women have the right to make their own health care decisions. No one forces a woman to take birth control or have an abortion. Yet, recent GOP-sponsored bills would remove those options forcing women to have unwanted pregnancies. That's manipulation!
• Job bills have been introduced by the president and Dems. only to have them stall in GOP-controlled committees.
When you lose you job because it has been outsourced by greedy employers who are out to gain more profit by using foreign labor - that isn't the President who did that. It might have been some executives at Bain Capital (or the like).
Last time I looked, Republican bills cut funding for community clinics, limited services, and tried to punish Planned Parenthood and Susan G. Komen services. I commend every woman who stands up and speaks for freedoms.
People who insist on voting Republican must realize that our freedom IS being eroded? And should be honestly asking themselves, "By whom???"
And what freedom? Freedom to be sick and helpless with no options for medical care? Most modern countries are providing their citizens with free health care. President Obama (and Michelle) are trying to make us healthier. Is that taking away our freedom? The Republicans want to force women to have children when they are not ready. Again - manipulation of body and mind. I don't see any problem with trying to make sure that healthier alternatives are on the shelves of our supermarkets. There is a choice - that choice represents freedom! It is not Socialism for our government to look out for the benefit of its citizens.
It is clear to many of us that those benefiting from a Republican Administration in the next election, would only be millionaires and/or the 1%.
