This run has been on our list quite a while. we delayed a while because of the turmoil, but it should be good for now, I'm in touch with folks from prior cruises, all loved it... The Viking folk have been easy to contact, we'll be met, taken to the ship, maybe an evening snack before the next day's Hermitage tour, we opted for an extended tour into the warehouses, basements, so, yes, many, many pics... I printed your note, poked it in the itinerary, some of the stops are guided, others, like St Pete & Moscow they give us some free time.. We'll see how secure we feel, as well as who we may meet, meander with... Small groups have led to meeting some fun folks from around the globe...

Like our wanderings into Tangiers a few years back, some areas might have been nerve wracking without a guide, his helpers.. But as i got to know him, he told us it's really perception.. If the sellers see a group, they tend to push a bit, harmless, but they ignore folks off on their own... Likely right... So many interesting places and people out there!

You'll be along soon enough.. Enjoy your trip, too!
