...the pain is like a warning light on the dashboard. It tells ya somethin is wrong. Deadening the nerve is the equivalent of taking out the warning light when the motor is overheating. Iffen ya fix the problem, the pain will fix itself.

Having two cortisone injections placed using a flouroscope for location for the two spurs that are causing the issue.

Hopefully this will take care of it. The injections also have Novocaine in them. I would eventually prefer to just remove surgically the arthritic spurs.

Will have to wait and see. Surgery like that is usually a last resort and for good reason.

I have read about the nerve killing procedure. My uncle had that done not long ago and it worked well for him.
My father needs that as well.

I think we have a family pow-wow this week-end so I am sure that will be discussed.
