Hope I'm not about to make this worse, but I've always been able (under my normal browser Firefox) to simply click an emoticon on the right Propeller have it show as ascii in this composition box and then as the proper emoticon in the message itself. not sure about bold, let's try. You said type it then highlight it, then I assume ckick the B? Here goes: bold test

Hi Mark!

Well, I actually do use Firefox as my web browser.
I only went to IE 8 because my Firefox will NOT allow me to use the formatting tools and emoticons that Bob has to the right.
With Explorer, I sued to be able to simply click on those and was able to highlite, quote, BOLD simply by highliting a word I typed and then clicking BOLD as an example.

Firefox does not allow me to do that at all. So when I want to edit a long post and do some COLORS and some BOLDS for separation of thoughts, with Firefox I cannot do that by clicking on those tools.

IS there a way that I do not know other than manually typing the BARS and using the forward slash?

Explorer used to let me do this by clicking and now it doesn't so I thought I would see if it was correctable.

Thanks!

Micro..... Very Happy
