Hi CLO:
We'll have to disagree on this one. I think it's a great idea to get the kids involved in classroom maintenance at an unabusive level. It could be as simple as put your stuff away and clean up your mess.
I love the idea of getting parents involved at the school also.
Of course, in Obamanation it's all about dumping your kids at the school and hope they keep them for many hours and feed them a couple of meals while teaching them very little. Kinda like baby sitting.
