...readjusting them to public life assumes that at some point they were adjusted to public life. That's not the case. These guys will be back for something similar or something worse at the first opportunity.
Liberals are like a "Slinky". Totally useless, but somehow ya can't help but smile when you see one tumble down a flight of stairs!
Seems reasonable in these cases. Be nice if there was some agency that would help them get readjusted to public life rather than just throwing them back in the hood.
