Yes, except that while the Foxconn company may be a Taiwanese corporations, most of their factories are located on mainland China. And while you might think that this is a bit odd what with all the tension between the governments of China and Taiwan, as far as business goes everyone it a lot more accommodating. After all, China needed 'foreign' capital to industrialize and Taiwan has a lot of already wealthy business owners who were willing to invest in China, setting up factories and training workers. And the business people on the mainland didn't really care that the money was coming from Taiwan since business is business and the Chinese are a very practical people when it comes to 'capitalism'.
While in Taiwan once I asked one of these Taiwanese business owners (he made watches) about investing in China and whether he was concerned about what you heard all the time about China threatening Taiwan, and his comment was that that was politics and he didn't really care what the politicians did, as long as they didn't screw things up for businessmen like him.
