I voted for him because he was running with a 'D' next to his name. That was all that I needed as justification. And I have voted for the 'D' in every presidential election since I was able to vote, except once. And that was in 1992 when voted for Ross Perot, not because I wanted him to win, but I wanted him to get enough votes that it might have scared the crap out of Congress and the people of America, into dumping the archaic 'Electoral College' system. After all, look what the consequences were of having it in 2000. This might a much more civil society today if we had not had to live through that experience. I firmly believe that the way the 2000 election was decided has done more to destroy what it took 200+ years to build in America than anything that has happened since, and that includes 9/11.
