Based on today's ruling, Hobby Lobby could conceivably choose to simply have no insurance at all if they feel that they can't get a plan that doesn't include contraception coverage, which the ACA strictly forbids.
...still betcha it's much ado about nothing. IMHO, any insurance company out there will find contraception cheaper than the birth of a child and all the medical care that will entail over the years. I doubt that hobby lobby will be able to find one that does not include birth contraception. Abortion? Well, that's a bit more iffy.
...one thing you are right about though is the 'single payer' system. Personally I don't think the govt should be in the business of providing health insurance, but if it is going to do it, single payer is the way to go. This 'affordable care act' is a clusterfuzzle.
...back when I was a kid there were neighborhood health departments about that poor folks could go to. I got most of my innoculations at the health department. I thought the health department and the public library were great. Public parks are nice too.
