Hi OCU:

Your Bill Moyers piece is also useless, We know that Republicans have participated in government healthcare discussions going back to the 1970's, but that doesn't mitigate Obamacare's atrocities. To compare Obamacare to Romneycare (Mass Health) is also a farce.

We are not claiming that Republicans were silent during the Obamacare design, or that they didn't try to defend their constituencies. Just that they were snowplowed by the Democratic majorities in Congress, a few of whom actually read parts of the bill.

That is totally not true. The ACA proposal was changed and modified dozens of times based on demands from Republicans, and in reality contains more ideas that were originally proposed by Republicans than that which was promoted by Democrats, and what did the President get for all off his compromising and accommodating? Absolutely nothing. NOT ONE SINGLE REPUBLICAN VOTE!

If it was totally up to Democrats we would've gotten 'Medicare for Everyone' and the truth of the matter is, that would have been a lot easier to implement and manage.
