Goodell is the person that claimed he would have the moral authority over this cast of characters to keep them in line. With the $44 million they pay him, they aren't getting their monies worth!

He dealt with Rice halfassed & thus created a firestorm.

As for your assertion 'guilty until proven innocent' where there's smoke there's fire.
If they are arrested & charged, just like cops, put them on a leave of absence, until the matter is dealt with.
are they 'too big' to bench................

The question is, is the NFL harboring abusive criminals...

Guilty until proven innocent?

Goodell used poor judgement in the Ray Rice case, but he did punish him. So give Goodell a C-, not an F. Maybe the players' union, including some former players, should take a bigger role in monitoring player behavior.

Again, the NFL is not a church choir, and football players are not gentle little cherubs.
