Well, that's discouraging! My son is a bachelor and needs his knees done.

I'm trying to get him to go to rehab. Told him he can conduct business from there better than being home alone (with a bimbo possibly in attendance). I found a superb facility that understands business folks who have to function during rehab.

My son needs 'complete' recover because of his job, life style, and new responsibilities. Anything that promotes complete recovery is critical.

I know 3 people who had hip replacements.
Two needed them redone, one rejected the product.

The most current one, my employer. He's 75 & spent 3 weeks in rehab because he lives alone.

He used a walker & a cane now.
He needed a special seat to elevate the john.
He has these great long grabbers/pinchers that he can retrieve a dime from the floor. They also helped him dress & put socks on. Beware of the height of his bed, that could cause problems.

He needs to have his knees done, one for the second time. That one was injured in a skiing accident years ago.

He's still going for therapy, now also for his rotator cuffs.
But he goes to work every day!
He doesn't have any hobbies, except drinking.
