The Project For A new American Century is the most dangerous thing to happen to The United States, perhaps in its history. This group should be nothing more than a fringe outfit but George W. Bush fell in love with them when he became president and adopted almost all of their philosophies, one of which is that "America is an empire now!" When we found out that Mitt Romney had signed on with these people, we were scared absolutely to death.

These people are not going to go away in our lifetimes and they are going to be an ever present threat when combined with the possibility that another kook like George W. might one day achieve office as president. The idea that Jeb Bush has employed even one of them in his campaign scares the life out of us.

We must place trust in our elected leaders but this unelected group of thugs, if listened to again, might very well do us in as a nation in combination with the group of oligarcical billionaires such as the Koch brothers who seem bent on taking over the nation for their own greedy ends.

There is a cancer alive and well in this nation and this project group are part of the seed nut of all of it. The biggest nightmare that we have ever had was that somebody like George W. and Dick Cheney would get control of our military and our foreign policy and use them to no good end. We can only hope that the American people will continue to have enough sense to not let that happen again but the manipulation of groups like Fox News on the electorate in combination with untold amounts of dark money now let loose makes us very pessimistic about the future.

To say that "God exists" is the greatest understatement ever made across space and time.

You know, it's going to be interesting to see how Jeb tries to weasel out from under the Iraq War quagmire (that's Dick Cheney's term, not mine) when he was one of the original signatories on the document establishing the principles of 'The Project for the New American Century' back in 1997, often seen as the 'charter' for the neo-cons who came to dominate Dubya's eight years in office, a couple of whom, including Paul Wolfowitz, are now on Jeb's team. Remember, it was Wolfowitz who admitted later that it was his idea to make-up the story about Saddam being on the verge of developing nuclear weapons because, as he put it, anything less and Congress and the American people would NOT have supported an invasion of Iraq. He should be sharing a cell in the Hague with Cheney and Bush and not making ton's of money formulating Jeb's foreign policy positions.
