Reminds me . . .
Of something that happened in the late 1970's.
I was in the Army, stationed in the middle of Alaska.
It was unseasonably warm up there . . we were in the
field, the temperature was in the mid 20's, and the
mortar platoon were goofing off running around in
their T-ahirts. Back in Fairbanks, the girls broke
out their bikinis.
Back home in Virginia, they had a freezing weather
problem. I think they had ice up in the Northen
reaches of the Chesapeake bay.
