Not to diminish the fact that this was an horrendous act, but to hear the initial reports in the media and places like 'The Drudge Report', one would have assumed that the officers were in critical condition and/or near death as a result of their wounds. Now it's been announced, barely more than 12 hours after the shootings, that they've both been released from the hospital and are now at home resting. I've got to say that there must be some tremendous healing powers in that local St. Louis hospital, or else their injuries were not as life threatening nor as serious as was first reported by the national media.
