Those examples don't apply to voting.

The number of cases of in person voter fraud is minuscule.
This will NOT save lives or our democracy, it will erode it.

The republican party is doing everything in its power to have FEWER voters. That should tell you/us something...

"WHY should it change now?" A bit of a stretch, but remember - as a kid - you did not have to use seat-belts, but now you do?

Also, in earlier times a youngster could buy booze without ID, but now must present ID. Cigs also.
