Yesterday Ted Cruz announced he was running for President in front of the entire student body at Liberty University. For the students it was a compulsory convocation.
At the point in his speech where he went on about free speech and protection of privacy, he asked all the students to do something “they weren’t supposed to do” - take out their cellphones.
He then asked them to text the word “Constitution” to 33733. He did NOT tell them what that number was.
33733 is the text number for the Heritage Foundation (the Conservative think tank) - and it tells the organization’s computer that you wish to receive their SMS messages.
The only way to end those texts is to send the word “Stop” to 33733 - he didn’t bother to tell them that either.
