by Joe Jenkins News 5 hours ago
WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- A total eclipse on Saturday,
April 4 will last less than five minutes, making it the briefest full lunar eclipse of this century, but Westchester residents will miss most of it, according to Earth Sky.
The eclipse is set to begin at approximately 6:15 a.m. on the East Coast, but will only qualify as a partial umbral eclipse before the moon sets, Earth Sky said.
North American residents in the Mountain and Pacific time zones have the best chance of seeing the full eclipse, Earth Sky said.
