Mitt Romney, who became president last week after his NCAA bracket demolished former President Barack Obamaâ€™s, was unaware on Fox News Sunday this morning that Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) was in the race for the 2016 GOP nomination.

â€œWeâ€™ll take what he says today [on foreign policy], and thatâ€™ll be the platform he runs with as a candidate for president, if he gets in the race,â€ Romney said.

â€œWell, no, heâ€™s in the race,â€ host Chris Wallace said. â€œHe got in last week.â€ Paul and Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) are the only two major candidates to have officially declared.

â€œI havenâ€™t kept my scorecard as to whoâ€™s actually officially in, as to whoâ€™s just kind of in,â€ Romney said. If NCAA brackets are any indication, you can just sorta guess.
