Hi Sun glad to hear you got a mini in. When you get the time, yes an uninstall from the Windows Control Panel wouldn't hurt. Off and back on again won't hurt, no current WU to destroy and yes, that's the software I'm referring to but do a machine boot while the software's off too. Doesn't take long. I'm otherwise coming up empty unless it's just plain hardware. If there's nothing further in terms of giving us some info I'm not otherwise Eureka-stricken I'm going to point you toward the geniuses at https://foldingforum.org . They'll want a description and a log file at least as far as it gets, so if there's no progress think of the log while you're there would be my advice. usb stick or whatever.

ArVee,

I got to the church, but no time to do anything positive before taking off on a short vacation.

Dreamer doesn't get far enough to be able to see what cores it's trying to run - the issue affects both instances of folding on the computer.

I'm wondering if a complete and total uninstall followed by a clean install would help the problem, but I'm not sure exactly what all I need to do to completely get rid of the older version?

I'll see if I can get a little more info this weekend.

Sun :-)
