If it weren't for Brady, the Pats would not be nearly the team they are. I believe he could go to ANY other team and in a year make them a contender..

He is simply that good and raises the level of everyone on the team up.. A rare quality in a QB....

Although the 49ers remain my favorite team (as discovered a couple of years ago when my Niners played my Pats) and Joe my favorite QB, I'm close to conceding that Brady is the greatest QB in NFL history. I don't admit that easily but his results are impossible to ignore. As you put it, micro, it's not the TEAM that's so impressive. Just the quarterback.

I missed most of the Seattle game. Who won? Hopefully not the Seahawks, but this year I don't care too much. It's not like they are standing in San Francisco's way.
