It's California. If I shot them for dinner, some left-wing nutcase would call the cops. It's much better to raise birds in cages that are so small that they can't move, in filthy, overcrowded conditions, stuff them full of antibiotics and food, then let a machine do the dirty work. The birds are much happier that way. Just ask any wacko.
Turkeys in Sacramento are like deer in Fairfax. They aren't hunted and get to be so common that they become problems. I'll post another video of them this evening (broadband here at the rehab facility is not too good.) Once you've seen it, tell me how you'd like to have these critters on YOUR roof!
